Fraud Warning – Important Notice

It has come to our attention that fraudsters are currently impersonating Simon Burn Solicitors by using a name closely similar to ours, our address and the identity of our Senior Partner to contact members of the public and request payment.

We wish to make it clear that;

  • We will never contact members of the public seeking payment out of the blue;
  • Any legitimate correspondence from us will come from our verified email domain @simonburn.com only;
  • Our SRA registration number is 516917;
  • You can verify our firm’s genuine details at any time on the SRA’s public register at SRA.ORG.UK/Find-a-solicitor;

We have reported this matter to the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Action Fraud and the National Cyber Security Centre.

If you have received any correspondence purporting to be from us that you are unsure about, please contact us directly on:
01242 228444 or
simon.burn@simonburn.com before making any payment or providing any personal information.

What are cookies?

Our website uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file which is stored on your computer, tablet or phone when you visit a website. These cookies allow us to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our website.

There are two main types of cookie:

• session cookies—these are deleted when you finish browsing a website and are not stored on your computer longer than this

Cookies can be set by the website you have browsed, i.e. the website displayed in the uniform resource locator (URL) window. These are called first party cookies. Third party cookies are set by a website other than the one you are browsing.
